...Cosmology, Dark Matter and Strings...
Research Interests
I am interested in the intersection of Cosmology and High Energy Physics. Most of my work focuses on a class of hypothetical particle called an "axion". Axions are especially interesting in cosmology, because they are light, stable, and abundantly produced in the early Universe. They could compose the dark matter, the dark energy, or even drive inflation.
You can find a popular article I wrote about axions in Nautilus Magazine, here. and one in Contemporary Physics. I was also interviewed for New Scientist.
I've written reviews on axions: here, here.
I have a book about Dark Matter appearing in September 2024.
